Germaine Sijstermans presents the site-specific installation with composition Yareta, on view for three weeks this spring at Quartair in The Hague. Yareta is composed as an open score, making each of the quartet’s three live performances a unique experience. Central to the music are timbre and sound textures, and a continuous interplay with perception itself, for both musicians and listeners.

The music will be performed by Elliot Simpson (guitar), Santiago Lascurain (guitar), Germaine Sijstermans (clarinet), Leo Svirsky (accordion) and Leslee Smucker (lights).
